Tonight I attended a promotional activity for Breitling. I think everyone knows this is a brand closely related to flying. For example, their newly released Pilot's Chronograph watch series, Navitimer 8. The "8" in the name is paying tribute to the "Huit Ministry of Aviation" that was founded in 1938. That ministry specialized in producing cockpit apparatus and their classic Pilot's Chronograph watches for civilians and military planes."Huit" means "8" in French and represents the 8 days of power reserve for the classic cockpit apparatus that they produced. It's a very interesting and admirable idea.
Speaking of flying, actually, because of a movie, I once learned piloting and received training in a simulated cockpit. It's not all that easy! Since that time, I have also become interested in Pilot's Chronograph watches. Perhaps in the near future I'll come up with a movie related to flying.
