为DV感到自豪！

I have always been very proud to be a Chinese. Although I'm an American-Chinese, I always refer myself as Chinese. I learn how to read, write and speak Chinese as good as possible.
I'm still very "American" in my parents' eyes... hehe~~~

I consider myself a New Zealander born in Hong Kong and my ethnicity is Chinese. I'm proud of my ethnicity and there are lots to be learnt in the Chinese culture and way of thinking. I tried to keep up my Chinese reading & writing and have managed to do quite well with reading ... writing is a lot more difficult though, so I'm now learning & practising to write Chinese through the pinyin system (which will be good for learning Mandarin too) when I'm at home.

Having lived in New Zealand for so many years, I consider my home to be in New Zealand. In terms of country of origin, I must say Hong Kong - not that I deny China in anyway, just that people tend to have a different annotation to Hong Kong & China.

Racism is not so bad in New Zealand, especially when they can hear my Kiwi accent & slangs as soon as I start speaking English to others.

No, you have misunderstood, I said Malaysia is a very racist country, not Australia. I have not expereince any discrimination being a Chinese in Australia maybe because I am thick

haha..silly me. i was wondering when i first read, cause i never heard serious discriminaition in Australia. There's discrimination everywhere, it depends how serious. We sometimes discriminate our own people too. or we should call that stereotype.

说得好。。。不过我看到网上很多香港人和内地人的事件，倒是让人有很多说不出的诧异。文化差异，大概我能想到的只有这样的解释吧。。。
但是不会影响到大家来这里继续喜爱古天乐的

有国才有家。。。。

其实不论在哪儿，只要心里有牵挂的地方那里就是“根”！我们会因它的繁荣而自豪。“家”也好“国”也好，总有那么一个地方会让你为之心动，那就是归属感的栖息地。不是每个人都能永远留在自己眷恋的地方，留在心里就好。
