There are quite the number of people who are afraid to speak up,

feeling as though calling a spade a spade would cross others,

or would expose one’s vulnerabilities, etc.

Yet to be above-board with our own views

is crucial,

for it can bring us closer to others,

likewise, don’t just put your best foot forward,

nor is there such need to overly camouflage our shortcomings.
