Almost all of us are on social media, 

while some have befriended a huge number of people on such platforms, 

others maintain a set amount of friends. 

How about y’all, which of the above are you? 

Numerous psychologists and anthropologists 

have been on the case 

of the maximal count of close connections one can keep, 

and the general consent is 

roughly 150 people, 

in which those of true intimate bond 

can be tallied on one hand alone. 

My take is that, 

each of us has our own unique way in managing close interpersonal contacts, 

and the meaning of so-called “friends” also differ from one person to another, 

it is essentially unfeasible to generalize.
